Prayers

This has been a very difficult week, and the week-end ahead looks hard. This is the prayer I am praying, for me and for you:

Lord help me
to remember
that nothing
is going to happen
to me today
that You and I
together can't handle.

Ella Marie

Brian and Becky's baby, Ella Marie, was delivered last Thursday, March 22. I was able to go see her last night. She is a beautiful baby! She has a really pretty color, and lots of hair. It gave me serious baby envy because she looks a lot like Madeline did. Here are a couple of pictures. We are always happy to have a new girl in our family :-)

Spring Break in Nashville

We had a fun start to our Spring Break with a week-end in Nashville. Madeline, Rebecca and I hung out at the Marriott in Nashville while Mark worked most of the week-end. Dad had to move his office, and Steven stayed home since it was going to be just girls relaxing in Nashville. We had a great time celebrating Rebecca's pregnancy and just being together. We walked around downtown and at every girl's vacaction destination - the Mall! We also did a whole lot of swimming, talking and eating. It was a great time all around! Today is really pretty back home in Kentucky. The sun is shining, and I opened all of the windows to let the air flow through the house. Madeline and I are pretty tired, so we are doing a lot of resting and relaxing this afternoon.

We are really happy about Rebecca's pregnancy! It will be a ton of fun having another little one in the family :-)

"Welcome to Friendville" A story by Madeline

Welcome to Friendville

Welcome to Friendville, a big small city located in Ojania, Madilinia. Since you have never been here before, we thought we would show you around. First, we'll show you the Biggest Littlest Pet Shop Friend House. Here you will find fun people who will invite you in and the persons who live around the house. Next, we'll go the the Little Pet Lovin' Playhouse where the spotted dog lives and his friends. We can play together there. Now let's go to the show. The show is good funny tricks and we like to hang upside down without holding on, even with our toes. He He He, it's a funny trick place. After the show let's visit the ice cream store. Nobody makes ice cream like the ponies! When you are sick, you go to Dr. Tyler's office. He will doctor you and give you a shot if you are too sick. We talk to Dr. Tyler about the sick pets. He makes them feel better. You can ride Thomas' train to go to any of these places if you get Lady's magic gold dust. If you don't get the magic dust, you can still ride in a car. Then we'll check out the Pony Castle, and you'll get a secret prize, and they will always give you a butterfly. They will play with you. It is very much fun to play with the ponies there. It's so much fun to have ponies around you. And they are always nice. Last of all, we'll go camping with all of the five year old girls. They love the camp! It is so much fun! They are always nice.

Where is Madeline Island? I don't know, but the picture sure is pretty :-) Our Madeline seems to be getting somewhat better, although she still had a fever and very red cheeks tonight. I have already advised my office that I won't be there tomorrow, so I'll be working from home as much as Madeline will let me!

March is Here!

You guys know how much I have whined about hating January and February, so Thank Goodness, March is here! We had a very active day yesterday - first we went shopping with Mom & Dad, and I got some good deals! Nice work clothes for not that much money, so it was definately a good trip. Then last night we had John, Melissa, John Robert and Carlee over, and we had a great time. We had pizza from a hole in the wall pizza place Steven found, and the kids had a big time playing in the tent. John Robert gave me a big kiss voluntarily, which for him is rare, so I felt like a big success. My camera batteries gave out, so I only got a couple of pics. Hope you enjoy!

Madeline's Dance Recital

Madeline's Dance Recital is May 18 - you are all invited, of course, so I thought I'd let you know when it will be in case you wish to come. We ordered the costumes, and the girls are practicing hard! She will be in two routines, and her group is the youngest class that will be participating. It should be cute!
